Once he went into the new y-pipe, he ran a 3" pipe into the 3"in/2.5" dual out muffler, then out behind each rear tire with exhaust tips. The y-pipe defiantly shouldn't be a problem to install, and won't effect the o2 sensors.
I think you'll enjoy the magnaflow. I don't regret mine one bit.

I noticed my magnaflow sounds a little different now that I've been driving it for a few days. It sounds a little deeper.
Yea....as time goes by the packing absorbs moisture from condensation and it gets a little louder. Chambers don't do that though...they only sound different when the plates inside rust out

This shop does have an excellent reputation in the area. they said they would coat the muff with hightemp paint to extend the live (prevent early onset of rust). i am hoping to get the xdi intake for 275 at the same time.
Complete stainless Magnaflow cat-back for $418 shipped to my door.
Much better set-up. No rust
I didn't change the mid pipe because they are the same and the OEM pipe had a couple of hangers that the new one did not. My 08 has no front resonator, so no need to change for that either. Took just over 1 hr to remove the stock stuff and install the Magnaflow 16700 kit.
