I dont have one personally, however I know a guy who has one, and it work pretty decent. It drops the gate real smooth. You mainly see the same thing on back windows of like durangos, or expedition, things of that nature, even bed cover...

To me it's useless unless you have kids...then it's a good safety feature.

I don't have that one, as it only lowers the tailgate down.
I have the torsion bar style, which not only lowers the tailgate, but makes it a one finger excersise to raise it.
This makes it very useful for my wife and the kids.
Plus, no moving parts to wear out.
Sorry, but I can't remember for the life of me who makes it or what it's called???
I'll try and post up later what it is.
Al.

I have the EZ lift and the EZ down. Both work fine. Makes it easier for my wife to lift/lower the gate.

I have it and love it. Many of times I come out of the woods from bowhunting and one hand is holding my bow while my tree stand is on my back and thats when the EZ lift comes in handy. I recommend it. It also looks really cool at the store when all you do is flick the handle and the gate lowers slow and smooth. If you have a toneau cover then the Ez down is a must.

that is exactly what I was thinking. I hunt too and I know what you mean. Does the one you have help for closing the tailgate too? I found that autozone has them for $40:

So you have to buy two products correct?

This:

and this:

http://deezee.iwebcat.com/

Is there a product that will do both?
