Powdercoating Grille Inserts
the tailights look great!! the headlights look good but i think you should open them up and paint the inside of them black. that will give you the complete smoked look bc right now you can still see the chrome...
^+1 with what silver said....also dont know how you feel about it but i think you should debadge that baby.....it would look sweet. I would leave the ram on the tailgate for now....but the RAM 1500 and the Hemi badge, take them off man......it will really look nice and black then
Thanks guys for the compliments! Yeah, I really love the tail lights. It was the headlights I was dubious about, and sure enough, still am about them. Kind of feeling like it might be silly to do the inside of the headlights now though since they have paint over them. Or do you guys think that will "de-dirtify" the look? Right now, they don't look terrible, but they seem to just look a little mildewy. I just don't want to go any darker because I don't want my lighting to be impaired at night.
In regards to the badges, I was a little nervous about taking the badges off because it's really the only thing left on the truck that accents the 20" chrome wheels. If I get rid of the badges, the next thing every guy on the street is going to say is, "Dude, the only thing that truck needs is BLACK RIMS!"....and I really cannot afford to do that, plus I really love the flashy dodge wheels, they are classic.

I think it looks good. I wouldn't do anything other than maybe what Silver said, but if you do open those lights up, be careful. There have been several disasters of people melting their headlights trying to get them open.
I'm not really so sure I want to mess around with opening the headlights up, especially risking potential condensation problems. I love the rear tail lights, they look perfect. For some reason though, the headlights are just a little odd to me. They do look good, but one could easily conceive them as being dirty looking. I almost feel like I should just buy some clear euro headlights....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...ayphotohosting
man that thing is looking very familiar but like alot a ppl said leave it it looks great my next move is cross hair painted black and housing in my lights painted black...only chrome will be bumpers, wheels and ex. tips.....
I appreciate the words! I just wasn't sure if the wheels are looking stupid now since everything is black except the wheels. Makes me kind of want to just buy some euro clear headlights to kind of even the truck up again. Chrome look in the front, and blacked out in the rear? I definitely got to open those headlights up and remove that amber reflector though, it looks really stupid....just hoping the truck doesn't look all weird being dead black with shiny *** wheels.
Lol, alright advice taken. Did you just paint over your headlights too, or did you open them up and paint the chrome? So I just need to open the headlights up, paint the insides and remove the amber reflector?
