Default Finally got my exhaust!

Well, I finally got my exhaust installed, all stainless with 14" Magnaflow muffler SI/DO with 3.5x18" slash cut tips(T304), all welded. Now I have to say this muffler is absolutely awesome!!! Nice deep tone when on the gas and quiet when cruising. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice and the recommendations I got here. Everything cost me $425 total. Now if I can only keep a lighter foot on the gas to save on mileage. But it sounds so awesome!! Second day after I had it installed I drove over to my buddies house to show it off, while driving down his street I set off his neighbors car alram just by driving by. I'm going to put up pics as soon as I get my camera back from my brother in law.

The exhaust sounds great. The tailpipes stick out too far from the bumper for my taste though.

They are adjustable. I'm going to slide the tips back in a bit this weekend. Nothing is welded on mine, all nice, adjustable slip fits.

Sounds nice, when my FM rusts out (which we all know it will), I think that is what I am going to go with as my muffler.

You don't use the muffler that much though, right?

Lxman, a vid driving around with that would be cool. I bet you will get lousy mpg's for a little while now.

I'll try to get some in cab video this weekend. It has a nice sound. Loud under a load, but pretty quiet at a cruise and warm idle.
Me likes it

Yeah, the mileage has dropped a bit this week, down to about 16.5 over the usual 19
I reset the computer after I installed it, so it will relearn my driving style.
