Yea I got a code when I did mine too, Maybe I pulled the wrong wire I am not sure but it threw 3 codes, search my posts in this group for the numbers mine threw. Really wish there was a way to give this trans a little more punch to the shifts, the SC helps a little bit but not enough..
Abarmby, I haven't put a scanner on it yet. I pulled the wire from #10. I may try installing a DIODE inline rather than completely pulling the wire out, that way it stoll loks like the 2 cms are talking just be a 1 way conversation.
Hmmmm..........that's not right. I've neverf read of a check code being generated by this mod. What code is displayed?
Have you made 100% sure youv'e pulled the correct lead?

P0113 - IAT sensor which was weird since I installed a power wire 3 onths ago and never got a code from it. I checked all my wires and all looks good.
Did this mod to mine shortly after getting the truck in 2007. I have quite a few miles towing and snow plowing and have had no ill effects. The removal of this wire definitely woke the truck up as far as how fast it shifts into 2nd.
Location of TCM...
Remove center bolt and pull plug out.
Remove the red pin holder.
Pull wire from pin #10 and tape off the end. Put it all back together and test drive!
I don't have this connector .. mine is an '03 4.7L
What is going on? I thought all '03s could do this?!!
LOL ... This is what it looks like if you DON'T have the 45fre transmission .. ?!

Hey guys, my neighbor pulled his wire and the thing seems to slip and won't take off till 2000 rpm then won't leave 1st gear. Any answers would be appreciated. Getting a code of p0700 also after pulling it

P0700 is a generic code for transmission failure.
Put the wire back in and you might then have to do a PCM reset by disconecting the battery etc.
Go back to square one, to make sure you get no codes and the truck runs good again.
You may have pulled the wrong wire??

Well pulling the wrong wire could be right but haven't checked yet. We put the wire back in and unplugged the battery and still no change. Taking it to dodge dealership today
