Yea I got a code when I did mine too, Maybe I pulled the wrong wire I am not sure but it threw 3 codes, search my posts in this group for the numbers mine threw. Really wish there was a way to give this trans a little more punch to the shifts, the SC helps a little bit but not enough..

I did this today and notice a huge difference in acceleration at WOT!

I like free mods

May install the power wire I made a few months ago, I just wish gas was cheaper.

Abarmby, I haven't put a scanner on it yet. I pulled the wire from #10. I may try installing a DIODE inline rather than completely pulling the wire out, that way it stoll loks like the 2 cms are talking just be a 1 way conversation.

You have a different transmission, this will not work for you.

Location of TCM...

Remove center bolt and pull plug out.

Remove the red pin holder.

Pull wire from pin #10 and tape off the end. Put it all back together and test drive!

I don't have this connector .. mine is an '03 4.7L
What is going on? I thought all '03s could do this?!!

LOL ... This is what it looks like if you DON'T have the 45fre transmission .. ?!

P0700 is a generic code for transmission failure.
Put the wire back in and you might then have to do a PCM reset by disconecting the battery etc.
Go back to square one, to make sure you get no codes and the truck runs good again.
You may have pulled the wrong wire??
Al.

Well pulling the wrong wire could be right but haven't checked yet. We put the wire back in and unplugged the battery and still no change. Taking it to dodge dealership today
