Default 4.56's

Ok, so i did some lookin around and i plan on putting 4.56's in my truck. I have questions before anything tho. I don't know much at all about gearing so. I plan on getting these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-09...Q5fAccessories

Now, 1st question... I need 2 sets? correct? 1 for the front and 1 for the rear (03 4x4 dodge ram 4.7L)

And last question, i walk into a dealer with these 2 sets, and say install them... am i going to need anything else other then the gears in this auction?

Thanks,
Hontz

you'll need the master install kit (new shims, bearings, etc.). Check out airram.com. They've got great prices on gears and install kits. great choice with the 4.56. its really gonna wake up that 4.7

You'll need a set for a 9.25" rear and a set for the 8" front, a master install kit. Moe's Performance did have a deal on both sets with install kit for a killer price. Air Ram is a good source too.
The dealer will kill you on the install price, you may want to shop the labor if you got any good differential shops in your area.
You should be able to find a reputable shop do the labor for around $200-250 an axle. I'm betting you walk into the dealer with all the parts and they are gonna whack you for about $1000-1200 labor...

Ok, i see the kit for the front also. Hmmmm So new cenerio....

In walk into the shop with http://moesperformance.com/index.php...oducts_id=1110

And

http://moesperformance.com/index.php...oducts_id=1149

And the gear (8.0" for the front and 9.25" for the back), and that is all i will need to have the 4.56's installed?

I ordered gears from Moe's last Saturday and have yet to hear from them regarding shipping info, etc....

I have also left a message and sent a couple of emails. But the Paypal transaction for $257.60 went through very fast.....

So, still waiting on some info. Places like Summit and Jeg's sell these gears as well and you will get them within 4-5 days. Summit has some of the fastest shipping I have ever encountered.
