Damn, in rural south Ga. I used to never lock my vehicles, or house during the day if I was at work. But over the last 5 years or so, that's changed. We've had the barn broken into twice at the farm now, last time they stole the 9.9 HP motor right off the boat! Tried to take the ATV off the winch once as well.
Things are getting bad all over, I guess...

looks like they stuck a pry bar to the side of the glass!
I have one glass break sensor as most systems only require. It sits high up on the underside of the dash. I set mine so that a slightest touch of car keys touching the windows will set it off.
I have never heard of any alarm having individual sensors for each galss, but regardless....It still worked for ya.

There are ways to get around the glass break sensor and break the glass in one shot, but I'm not gonna indulge everyone the the oportunistic advantage....lol
I would call a glass company that does window tinting and have them tint the window before you go pick it up. Then you can install it yourself.
Hopefully they didn't Fubar your window edger there when they stuck the bar to pop the window off the track.( That's what they attempted to do)

ALSO, I have a 2-way pager, but if your sleeping and the pager is in another room, chances are your not gonna hear it. It's good for confirmation to let you know if you are locked or not and as well to disable certain sensors like I live next to the railraod tracks so i disable my shock sensor normally.

Man, that is a mod I dont want. Not to be jackass. When I busted out my rear window, the tint was the only thing that kept the glass in tact so I could get to the glass shop. Im really glad they didnt get anything man. Imagine how pissed you would be to come out and see a broken window AND a missing laptop. Around here, we cant keep anything in our trucks. I leave my stereo face on now that I park in the driveway, but i didnt use to.

Tough break man. That kind of stuff really pisses me off. Now you have to come out of pocket for an expense that wasnt necessary.

damn that sucks... atleast they didnt take anything and the tint held it in place. I've had all of the other trucks broken into at one time or another. they havent tried daytona yet...

if you take a lil piece of the ceramic off a spark plug, and throw it at a window, it will shatter...

^^^ Exactly. besides that's not what they did. They used a screwdriver or pry bar to try and pop the window off track so they could crawl through without unlocking the doors.
They prob didn't think he had an aftermarket alarm with a shock sensor and glass break sensor.
