Since your saying Flowmaster is not a straight thru muffler, is that why it feels like a lot of backpressure when I let off the gas?

Would an Aero3030XL have that same feeling or is it a straight muffler?

What others are straight thru mufflers?

I am going to stay with flowmaster because the shop i got it from said they would get things straightened out for me with what i wanted. I did move the muffler back about a foot, and it made a difference. Not what i want yet. It sounds great, just need a little less cab noise and i am happy.

I should get a video of it for you guys...

i love my flowmaster, would never have anything else, on the highway there isnt that much drone, maybe if you have the radio off you will hear it, but i barely notice it. and mine is a delta 40

I have the Gibson Extreme Split Rear on my 4.7 and sounds amazing
at idle and gets pretty loud and a little raspy under heavy load.,. In the cab its a little droney at times but over all i like the performance and economy it gave me.. Im sure the 4.7L is louder then the hemi from the ones ive heard so why not try the Gibson on your rig ?

I replaced my 40 series with an Areo Turbine 3030, sounds BETTER, LOUDER under WOT and when cruising I can hardly hear it with the windows up, especially if the stereo is on, and that's with a side exit. It didn't bother me once on my near 2000 mile round trip to Yellowstone a few weeks ago.

I highly recommend the Aero Turbine mufflers.
