I'm an f-body guy myself. heres mine (2000 Firebird Formula). That being said, I think the new Camara SS looks a LOT better than the challenger.

yea im not a huge fan of the lt1 camaros. not sure what gen those are 3rd? but ihad a 95 ta and loved it. but the ls1 camaro was a bad bi*ch in their time. not much comparded to sport cars not but then... you had to have a vette or a viper to beat it. unless you had mods.

Cyclone, it doesn't take much to get a lt1/ls1 maro looking really good....just the usual appearance mods like a hood, 1 1/2 drop, wheels tires ,tint and they look awesome. Yes bone stock Z28's and 6'ers look plain but the SS's with just their factory hood/spoiler/wheels/wider tires makes a huge improvement. If you're telling me this is ugly you're smoking crack

To each thier own, in 93 when Gm changed the styling, I did not like it, yes, a SS or Z28 are quick and a great handeling car, But I prefer the 82 to 92 styling, one fllaw of the 92 Camaro was not all had rear disk brakes..

Camaros were nice looking cars up till 1992.

What I find interesting is the V/6 is packing a lot of power, it can hit 60 mph in a bought 7 sec, thats impressive, but, AS much as I hate Ford, the mustang is better styled in the retro mode.

I'm sure the ss version is one fast car, but looking at the new Camaro makes me want a Challenger, even a v/6 challenger...
I agre, I have seen the new Camaro and it is butt ugly. Sure, it might be fast and that is a good thing. The faster it goes by, the less I will have to see it.
They really missed the mark on the retro look. Obama Motors dropped the ball on the Camaro for sure.

Just after reading this post on my way to work I passed a Black SS, brand new and still had the temp tag in the window. I made sure to let my pipes scream and he waved but didn't get on it.

well I got to see quite a show at the track last night. New SS vs SRT-8 Challenger (supposedly stock). Sorry Chevy but not only did Dodge beat you to the market but they also beat you from the Tree. Maybe a couple car lengths would have helped the SS out though

On the streat or novice drivers racing on the strip, booth the ss Camaro and Shelby Mustang or the Challenegr SRT8 can and do out perform each othier, thease cars are so close in performance that it really takes a professional driver to deterimine who is faster.

On paper, a SS camaro is packing nore H/P and is a slimmer car than a SRT 8, But I really like the SRT 8, it may not be the quickest, but in my mind, is a better ballanced car with a bigger back seat.

i think the new challenger is the only good looking re-done muscle car anyone has made.
the mustang imo just looks terrible and the new camaro looks uncomfortable, not to sit in it but just an uncomfortable image.
