Default Ram vs New Camaro

Sorry, I had to get yall's attention. I also apologize for not taking pictures, I was leaving the casino and wasn't too attentive.

I came out of the El Dorado casino after winning myself gas for a week AND free seafood buffets, and got in my truck. I'm used to not being able to see cars a few rows down from me because my truck is so much higher. Alexandra was getting in on her side, and I am waiting and after a few seconds cussing at her to hurry up and get in because I didnt feel good from free drinks.

Guess what was beside my truck? A brand new SS Camaro, guy still in it. His roof came up to my door handles (almost as short as my vette!) He let me get in in and stare around, sit in the drivers seat and rev it up like a little boy. My big surprise was how tiny it is! It is almost as short as a corvette but higher off the ground. It only came to my back wheel, so Im guessing the wheelbase is shorter than the vette also.

My big complaint is the size. Great looking car, would trade my corvette in for it in a second. But its tiny, no room and almost economy-looking. The challenger really makes it look like a compact.

Yeah I had the chance to look in a new camaro and boy does the visibility suck! I guess what the mirrors are for but sheesh! It makes the visibility out of my magnum look like a one of those sunliner railroad cars. However, I thought the interior was interesting and I think the whole car looks great! GM has is really trying to regain it's image.

I've seen a couple new Camaro's and I think they look sick. I can't wait to see one out "feeling a little froggy" becuase I want to see what one can do. My one complaint is that the car is so curvy and over the top that it kind of looks like a cartoon of what it should be. Oh well, thats what some people say about our Rams and I love em. Haha.

Matt99 do you have any more pics of your truck? I'd like to see your leveling lift. PM if you can. Thanks.

No, the new camaro a sleaker looking turd on wheals, just like the last gen that GM killed off ( it really was a prtend corvette ) it looks like a crap I took yesterday.

Camaros were nice looking cars up till 1992.

What I find interesting is the V/6 is packing a lot of power, it can hit 60 mph in a bought 7 sec, thats impressive, but, AS much as I hate Ford, the mustang is better styled in the retro mode.

I'm sure the ss version is one fast car, but looking at the new Camaro makes me want a Challenger, even a v/6 challenger...

I'm a f-body fan and even I don't like the rear or the whole interior of the new maro...but as usual the drivetrain is badass and it's lighter than the challenger.

Cyclone, it doesn't take much to get a lt1/ls1 maro looking really good....just the usual appearance mods like a hood, 1 1/2 drop, wheels tires ,tint and they look awesome. Yes bone stock Z28's and 6'ers look plain but the SS's with just their factory hood/spoiler/wheels/wider tires makes a huge improvement. If you're telling me this is ugly you're smoking crack

f-bodies all the way. the mid 90's are kind of bland but thats it. i saw a new one going down I-4 and thought i was going to blow a load in my pants/ they look great cruising. i havent sat in one so i cant defend the interior but i think they look amazing... just my opinion. and they did an awesome job of keeping them affordable and making the v6 model sporty and fun as they come with i think its 304 hp?

I use to have a 1990 RS model all black with the hood scoop; loved it.

Never was a fan of the new 90 models either.....always seemed like a chick car- no offense to those that had it; there were just a lot of females in my town that had one...not sure why

The new camaro is awesome looking and packs a lot power. Please tell me you dont think the 3rd gen camaros look better than the 4th gen.

When they paired up the LS1 and 4th gen styling, it is one of the best cars ever.

3rd gens were ugly and slow. Please tell me TPI isn't your fav. injection.

TPI was a step up from TBI anyway! If you hate 3rd gen F-bodies you must not have been driving when 7.0 seconds to 60 was fast. Also, the 89 Turbo TA could never be called slow.

Were they rattletraps? Sure! Comparing them against today's cars isn't fair. Against other cars of their day they did well. One day I'll buy the 89 Trans Am GTA (red) I swore I'd own when I was in high school. With a bit of work it'll be a fine cruiser.
