But isnt that why when they peel it you are supposed to keep spraying it with solution?

i just had my tint done last week. turned out really nice, not a single bubble, streak, or anything. got 20% all the way around (even over the factory thus making it more like a 5% in the back) and a 6" strip on the windshield. Used Llumar film.

i would deff take it back and make em do it right.

Yeah, i didn't stand over the guys shoulder when he was doing it, so not too sure how it was done. It took the guy 35 min for both sides which is normal.
The only thing i can think of is.....Their bay was narrow and that's why i told the guy up font that my truck has no scratches/dings at all. Tight areas=scratches. i made the guy do a walk around before hand.
Anyhow, their table is at the back of the shop, walking it from there to the truck is prolly where they got the light debris from. The tunnel the truck was in must act like a wind tunnel when the wind gets going. Ever stand at the end of a carwash tunnel? it gets drafty.
If there was 2 or 3 small discrepancies, i wouldn't bitch at all because that would be something i would have as well and I'm not bad at tinting myself. The problem was color matching i was worried about and the Purpling that happens with the cheap stuff.

i would take it back as well... i have a local guy who does mine and used llumar tint and there was a bubble here and there maybe before it dried... i even got a second layer but over the first a few months later and dont have any bubbles. he hooks up our local motorsports club so i got the front and the back window for 110... they was even including stripping my old tint off because it was too light lol

Dog, I would take it back. I just did mine today (and I am no tinter) and it doesn't have big bubbles like that. It does have some very small ones but not like that second pic is showing. The guy show sold me the film told me that some small bubbles are to be expected but they should dissapear within a day or two if it is done right. Take it back and make them do it right.

That is a good price. The guy I bought my tint from wanted $80 to do the job. Turns out I taught his son a couple years ago so he just gave me the tint, freebie .

bubbles will go away $hit under tint wont! If they peel the backing off, spray the film as they go AND keep the wind out they wouldnt have that problem. Dog just wait til the bubbles are gone then you will be able to tell what is left and make them take care of it. As far as front strip previous post is correct about lines on windshield. On the edge bout 5 in from the top check local laws

I have mine tinted 15% and I had mine done at ziebart with no problems.

I would grab an edge of the tint and start pulling on it to wreck it, that way they have to replace all of it. and just tell them it got caught when you put the window down.
