Spark plug problems?
I am at 34K miles on my 2007 and I am going to pay the dealer 180 bucks to change them all. I am going to assume (will check) they are going to use MOPAR plugs and that they are gapped like they are supposed too. How hard is it to change 16 plugs.....I am not a mechanic. I have changed plugs many times before though. What are the best plugs keeping in mind I like to keep it all factory for now.
Its really not that hard. NOT worth 180 bucks thats for damn sure...the passenger side is easy just remove your intake and all 8 plugs are right there in front of you, then on the driver side, the first 4 plugs are easy to get to, the back 4 are the hardest but with a little patients and the right socket extensions you'll have little to no problems...I've heard an easy way to do the driver side is to just remove your tire and the wheel well cover on the driver side and the plugs are right there in your face, so thats something to think about too..

As others have said, the passenger side was quite a bit easier than the driver's side. I did not remove the tire, so I had to go from the top... the brake booster is right in the way. You will definitely need a swivel (knuckle) or 2.
I checked the gap on all of the Champion plugs (and they were all fine, I didn't adjust any of them) before I put them in. I also used a torque wrench to make sure they were in correctly.
I must say that it drives better than it did before the change! I'm guessing that the biggest impact was the cleaning of the throttle body. It seems much smoother on acceleration. The plugs that I removed all looked pretty good, but a few were starting to get a little dark.
I had 30,200 on it when I changed them.

It sure ain't worth 180.00, I mean the back ones on the drivers side are a pain but like its been said with extensions, a swivel or two and some patience you shouldn't have too much trouble. As far as the best plugs, Champion is what the factory puts in so thats always my first choice. And BIG, Good deal man! I'm glad to hear your problem is solved. I know it took allot of work but I'm sure it was a lesson learned.
Also, if youre planning on doing your plugs, i found out that taking off the hemi hat thats before your throttle body makes it a lot easier to reach the back 4 on the driver side...just a little extra info
You should have timed yourself the last time and seen if you can beat Ramhunter1!!
im doing y own plug swap aswell and i seen that you guys are using the copper plugs i was told the best to use were the iriduim plugs especially for the waste plug anyone using these ones cause allthese plugs just sey me back a buck twenty
