Ok guys thanks for all the input.
It is 4x4.
Any idea how much the bumper repair would be?
The guy selling it is the 2nd owner. He bought it about 1.5 years ago as a certified vehicle.
When dealers certify vehicles they don't do all the fluid changes do they?
Keep your guys opinions coming. I want to make sure I've done my research before I drop some big dollars.

I would check Kelly's Blue Book (KBB) for price and condition. In this economy I would expect a really good deal. The dealers are giving nothing for trade-in's. A friend bought a new 08 and the dealer only offered him $7,500 for his 04 SLT in absolutely beautiful condition, window sticker was over $30k.

I've been doing a lot of looking around and crew cab Dodges and Crew Cab F-150's. Seems like the dealers are asking a lot for the F-150's and you can get a Certified crew cab dodge with a hemi & 4x4 for under the price of a F-150 XLT which is so plain inside! Do you guys think going with an 06 certified from a dealer would be a better deal if a guy can get one around 16K with around 35K?

I did get them to sell me a set of Copper Discovery HT Plus 20" tires at their cost $115.00 each because I want new tires before winter since the ones that were on it are getting to where I would replace them for winter driving.
If you can get an 06 certified for 16K or less that has time left on the 39 month, 39,000 bumper to bumper I would go that route. You then have at least a little time to find any little problems and just that would give me a little peace of mind. I found several little things that they fixed at no cost that would of cost me over $500 to have done by the dealer.
