airbag compressor inside the truck
Just wondering where you guys with the airbags have mounted your compressor. I was thinking about putting it under my drivers seat in the cab.... that way it isnt outside in the mud and water and all the eliments... might last me alot longer i think..
Anyone put it there??
Anyone put it there??
well first of all the compressor is tiny and physically fits under the seat, and the only time the compressor is on, is when u flip the switch to pump up the bags, it isnt automatic, just a momentary switch
Do you have a pic of this compressor? Or a site link?
I have a Viair 380c for my train horns and it is behind the front bumper. I used to keep it in my tookbox but it got to where I needed the room more and more.

Well it cost me 260 bucks to buy the compressor and single guage control…. A small price to pay for the convenience of being able to hit the switch and pump up the bags if I need to. I can take a picture when I have it installed this weekend. Its on my to do list this weekend

I got one of those cheep emergency compressors and keep it under the back seat. Just pull it out and plug it into the cigarette lighter and press them up as needed. Works great and don't have to look for a gas station with a working air compressor.
