This was about my kick a$$ new HIDs, but it turned into a debate about HIDs and projectors and such.


I finally got my HIDs and my stubby antenna on the same day!
WOOT!

6000Ks from Twiggy - $210.
Perfect color! They look AMAZING.
Seriously one of my favorite mods so far.

My only problem is they make my foggers look pathetic ...
I just need the 130 bucks and I'm getting 4300k for them!

Took me a while to figure out the HID connections, but once I got it, it was easy.


Also, I'm really surprised the stubby antenna didn't cause me to loose any clarity or coverage. If anything it improved a little.

Ive got 6k also and can relate on how good they are. I like that stubby also and am curious on where you got it.

Looks very good man!! In my opinion, I wouldn't get that temp for the fogs..too many ricers own the rights to that temp LOL, just my honest opinion though.

Your headlights look sweet.. now time to get the Fogs... if you liked how the headlights looked, your gonna mess ur pants when you get the fogs... I get High beamed every night when I got my fogs on.... You wont regret it...

 

Yes, because blinding on-coming traffic with your HID's because you're too damn cheap/stupid to buy projector housings is something to be proud of.

I really don't understand why everyone here is proud of blinding on coming traffic and doing things half assed. It throws you right into the crowd of ricers everyone here bashes. Just because someone doesn't flash you, doesn't mean you're not blinding them. Unless they're aimed directly at the ground, they're blinding.

It is not only illegal in literally every state, but totally defeats the purpose of HID's.

To those of you who do have projector housings, thank you for thinking beyond "omfg d00d look how brutal mah headlights are!!!!!11"

Cops around here finally got fed up with the crap and started writing tickets for HID's in non-projector housings.
