I meant no disrespect Ramhunter, In this case your spelling produced an awesome word! I don't care if you can't spell,you know your Dodge trucks and you obviously know what makes one look good so you are OK in my book brother!

WOW, the hitch thing is a tough cookie!!
i hope the info will serve someone in some way...
so, despite the fact that manufacturers and sellers put a picture of a full size hitch next to item's description, the only way to tell if it's the full size or not is by looking at the dimensions or the installation manual.
so it turns out that hidden hitch, reese, valley etc all sell you the "small" hitch with the picture of the big one...
I did find one however.
as ramdamit already recommended, Curt mfg makes hitches. they have 3 that will fit my RAM.
1. #13326 - the small hitch
2. #13320 - full frame, but it uses the same mounting points on the bumper
3. #13361 - full frame, uses different mounting points.
#3 is the one I need, and yes, you guessed it right, it's the most expensive of the three... ewwwww
so, the order is placed, and i hope the installation won't be too hard!!
the switch
i crawled under the truck a little bit yesterday on the passenger side, and i didn't find the switch yet... i'll post some updates after work today!!
