for what it's worth.....Try a ported enclosure if you can squeeze the space. I used packing peanuts to measure the amount of cu/ft of air space since everything is so contoured and impossible to measure. After all packing peanuts are placed in your pre-made enclosure, find a cardboard box big enough to fit all the peanuts and dump them in. Now you can measure the actual cu/ft of your enclosure.
I pulled the carpet off the floor and molded my box to the floor boards for max air space. With the above idea, I was able to get a little over .90cu.ft per side. So even 1.25 is possible while giving you enough room on the driverside for storage crap.
