What Mods Are A Must??
What mods are a must for right away after purchase
What kind of CAI do you recommend, K&N, Airraid, AEM.....
What about exhaust, magnaflow, flowmaster, do you replace the entire exhaust system or just the muffler itself?
Anything else...
e-fan, can't find much about them just yet. Don't even really know what I am looking for......

CAI's are all about the same, except for the BFI. The BFI seems to get a little better performance than the rest but costs a lot more.
Exhaust, you just have to decide what sound you like and what kind of flow you want. Flowmaster is a sound that a lot of people like but they don't flow well (and rust out in no time). Magnaflow flows better than FM but doesn't have the same sound. Then there are the AT3030's and so many others, just check the FAQ and you will see all kinds of muffler info. Personally, I like the e-cutout, best exhaust set up I have ever had.
Tuners, well you didn't give any info as to the year of your truck or the engine you have so I can't really give you any advice as to what tuners would or wouldn't work for you.
You mentioned the e-fan, that is a mod that I have and it is a very good one. I put a fan from a 94 Ford Taurus in my truck and it cools like a champ. It also is the best MPG improvement that I have gotten from any mod.
There are a lot of other mods you can do, but I think the big three should give you a good start.
The first 3 mods everyone seems to do are Intake, Exhaust, Tuner
There's only one intake, the BFI
Exhaust: Magnaflow
Tuner: Superchips
After that it really depends on which direction you want to take your truck

I use a drop-in K&N because i can't see spending $300 on a CAI when it won't do that much for you. I mean dollar per HP is pretty low. K&N drop-in is good for me.
Catback get stainless. magnaflow seems to be choice amongst most.
Tuner without a doubt. Either Superchips or Diablo
Gotta have good wipers and my first mod was draining the wiper fluid and fueling up with that orange stuff. Does a great job in the winter and keeps the winshield super clean in the rain. beads like crazy. i hardly use my wipers unless I get a mist on the highway.
Wow, just did a quick search and found this super deal!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-DO...lenotsupported

I don't know if I could ever justify the cost for an intake but I will say this, I have never heard a negative report about the BFI from anyone who has used it.

First three I got was an exhaust, CAI and a tuner. I did the exhaust first because I cant stand the sound of a stock vehicle. As for which exhaust, go with which ever one you think sounds the best (try to stay away from flowmasters though everyone always seems to upgrade to something different shortly after putting one on). For intakes, I like my modified AFE high breather/MIT combo (its bigger than the BFI
), but really they all do about the same job. For the tuner I started with the Superchips 3815 (a great tuner) and switched after about 4yrs of running it to the Diablo Predator tuner (another great tuner).

Seat of the pants isn't an accurate statement. CAI from stock gainds like 5-6rwhp. Most of it coming from the better air filter. I'd rather spend $60 on the K&N filter and save the other $340 that the BFI costs and put that towards a tuner which will yield more gains than any CAI would.
BFI is a really nice set-up, but for the little bit of power you'd gain. It's not worth the expense in my eyes!
Couldnt agree more!
