A little bummed with the handling
Empty bed big factor, but the 20's are a major culprit too. 17s offer more sidewall to absorb the jolts. Also allow you to air down better than the 20s would, also softening the impacts...
I did just buy new tires for the truck, so maybe they jacked the pressure up a lot. I just remember feeling very surprised how my truck was just bouncing all over the road like a slinky, didn't seem right.
just to let yall know...my friends dad has a tundra ext cab 5.7 and that thing is sooo fast!!! and handles great!! the 4x4 system kind of sucks but its not bad.....i just dont like the looks...and parts are so much more expensive...but from the factory the tundra is a great truck if u look at power and capabilities...but...so are fords and dodges and cheveys....trucks are almost identical these days
forget the shocks and especially the sway bar helping, I should know I tried both, neither actually helped at all. Check your tire pressures first, discount and the other tire shops generally stop filling your tires at around 40 psi because thats usually where the max pressure rating onsome tires stops. My truck is supposed to be at 34 according to the Dodeg dealer with 20's. The sway bar will help with bordy roll and leaning into corners but will actually make the ride even more of a bumpy ride on uneven surfaces since it effectively adds stiffness to both sides. And as for the shocks... good luck with that, I have been through so many different sets of shocks over the last few years and has brought me right back around to using the OEM shocks that came on it from 5 years ago.

Lol, good stuff fellas..
What I can't put my finger around is the fact any other truck I've driven has never done this. I guess I thought the newer dodges would be as heavily built, but I can tell they are lighter than my previous 2nd generation Ram....which is OK because I love the refinement and power, but was caught off a bit with the bouncing around.
