Default What Gears Do I Have??

08 dodge ram 4by4 1500 5.7L 17 inch wheels none tow package i think....any ideas or should i just crawl under there???is it located on the sticker on the axle??? at 60mph my rpms are just under 2000 like 1950 or so.

So im deff loosing performance with them gears...going to 4.10s would prob really wake it up.

One way to know for sure is to contact Chrysler and get your build sheet. Its always good to have for tuning and custom tunes.

If you've got 3.55s, yeah, you are losing performance. 4.10s for tires up to 33", 4.56 anything over would be a good investment...

2000rpm @ 60mph would be more like a 3.92. I have 20's and get those rpms @70mph.

i agree 3.92's... those numbers 2000rpm @ 60mph with a 17 sound right so glad i have 4.56's

figured it was 3.92...3.55s would be to high for how fast my truck gets to 70mph

nope its 3.55's just got off the phone with dodge the ran my VIN number...wow sure picks up quick for that high of gears cant imagine 4.10s

lol try 4.56"s lol hold on now!!!!! and i aint even broke in yet
