Default 08 RAM California owners question about 2009 registration fees

I just received my registration renewal from the DMV and it's $425.00
Is this what everyone else is getting? This seems high to me.

SB, nice truck, but yeah I think I might have heard about something like that before.

Oh well guess I will just suck it up and pay it.

my boss said it's $425 renewal because I get the a**hole tax

because she says I'm a**hole who drives a truck but doesn't need it

I laughed so hard when she said that

I'll get mine soon but from what the chics at the DMV tell me only part of the fees increased...so it's not actually doubling. Mine was $280ish last year before any of these increases started...i'm thinking it'll be mid $300's this year.
