k so I have a question, when i started to tape off the lights, i took some of it off to re do it and the tape pulled off the chrome on it. im so mad that they look so ****ty and I did everything right and used the same tape that you guys did, so why didnt it happen to you guys?

 

it happened to me too man thats why i didnt like mine bc i knew i would see that spot all the time

 

are u talking about mirrors inside the lense.

 

once they are back together and on the truck you wont notice those little spots

 

well my dear i believe you may have forgot to freeze them before you pulled the tape off... i froze mine like redram05baby said and none fo the chrome came off....
for future reference 45 mins in the freezer makes the glue less adhesive....

yeah mine look terrible. I didnt know you could freeze them. Now im saving up to just buy the black ones. I cant stand just knowing that they look like that, even if you dont notice them from far away...Im a girl, it has to be perfect! :P

 

Like a couple people have said. its easier just to buy them.... i messed mine up to i melted the bottom of the lens i guess my oven was a bit more potent gave me a reason to put eyelids on...
