I have been looking for diy's on painting the inside of the headlight enclosure... I remember someone had one i think it was redram05baby or whatever his name was.... Anyway cant seem to find it... I wanted to know what bonding agent was used to re-bond the headlight lens back onto the enclosure... anyone got any ideas cause i am painting the inside of it black... let me know guys thanks

I think silver could give you some tips for both do's and don'ts for this job .

 

just search "for those who have painted their headlights" and you will have all the info u need. i will say this if you are going to paint them black, just buy a set, and sell yours. my .02

 

come on sliver it aint that tough!! I had mine apart in no time. painted and back together just like the DIY says no leaks, no problems!!

So I just finished painting the inserts black after the bondo work of course looking like it may be effin sweet... Imma clear coat em after im done with the black to give it a nice shiny effect plus it will match my rims... I have been taking pics step by step as I have been doing it... Ill post em once im all finished

I have only painted one black so far cause my side wall was cut my by dog... so i figured it would be a good time to paint the rim while i save up for tires... but yeah I have a pic here...
