Yes. I have been advised to do a "c-notch" in the back, but I don't bottom out. Just know this..when u do a build u don't wanna scimp on stuff. Suspension is definitely one.of. those things. Lol.

There are so many combinations it is hard for anyone to give correct information. I got a flip kit on the rear of my 03 and picked a specific shock from the Monroe chart and have been using them for a year. They work good. Not having used other shocks I can't compare them with others. The OEM bumps need to be removed and aftermarket bumps can be used. I may go with a mild frame cut at some point but air shocks can also be used to control axle travel. For people offering advice, I would stick with folks who have personal experience, the others are just making noise.
deff replace your bumpstops. i cut the metal cups off the front end as well. i have bully dog shocks and they work great. i really dont feel there is a need for notching unless you are going really low or tow/haul
I have a 2008 hemi sport, and i was just looking on AirBagIt.com for an air bag suspension kit and they only seem to have the front suspension. what is another good company for them?

Folks, I recently painted my bumpers. I wanted to keep my rear bumper because I tow a motorcyle trailer, but after looking at it I am not crazy about it's look on a lowered truck. I also decided the Euro style exhaust didn't suit me any longer as they look like they were sticking out further from the bumper than before. Two choices present themselves. Put a chrome bumper back on or keep pushing forward with modding. I choose to push forward. So in preparation for the next mod I dumped the exhaust behind the body line to get it clear of a roll pan and out of sight.
Maybe do a search on "air suspensions". If you find something specific don't forget to post your results. Good luck...
Well i think if i do bag it i may not be doing it myself. i havent found a single place that sells a whole kit for the 2008's. I called my local lift and suspension shop and he said for about $2500, $3000 they could do a full custom install but thats not including the tank and the compressor. that just install of bags and lines and switches. FML!!! i guess im going to get a drop kit instead but yet again dont know which one to go with! and i dont know how far to go.. i dont wanna go to low that i scrap but i wanna go low enough that my tires are proportionate in the wheel well. Sorry for such a long *** post been thinking a little about this.

This is the kit I used. It doesn't mention 08 model, so call them to find out the proper kit is available. I have no complaints, the alignment is spot on with the addition of "caster/camber adjusters". Ride is the same with new shocks, Travel is more limited as would be expected. Good luck..
