Yep, I fully agree. IMO, gives the truck a good stance without any drawbacks.

Instead of doing the drop shackles, add leveling blocks to the front end. They're 2 inch blocks. Keep in mind that your trucks suspension in the front is already settled. If u were to add lowering shackles to the back its gonna require more work than if you just go with the leveling blocks. Just my .02

A great example for this is, I bought a 4/6 kit and the day It went on the truck appeared level. After a couple of weeks to allow things to settle my front end settled about an 1 1/2 lower than the rear end.

Anyway, take It or leave It. lol. Good luck....just remember lowered trucks are far more sexy then lifted trucks. Lol.

Raw, you lucky dog. You bought one kit and ended up with additional 1-1/2" drop without doing anything. Post some pictures! Dropped with a California dago.... sweet. Give us some details about the kit. Like I said really need some pictures of that..

I did. Utilize ur search function. Lol. If I wasn't on my phone I would put a link to my Photobucket account. I'm not familiar with my phone enough to put the link in this message. I know I've made a thread titled "truck is finally done!" I know I put pics in that thread. Search on here, and you should b able to find It.

My front end settled lower than 4"s. If u wanna go lower in the back u will definitely have to do a c-notch. Do the flip kit n stock shackles to get the 6"s in the rear. If u wanna go lower them that you'll need to Install drop shackles, do the c-notch and install shock extenders. With that combination you get an 8" drop. You can add drop control arms to the front end that'll give you another 2"s. However, it will settle lower then 6"s. You will need to do some wheel well modification to the front and the rear If you go lower than a 4/6 drop. Also keep in mind that assignments cost more for us "lowered" guys. NTB (National Tire and Battery) charged me 75% more then they charge foor a regilar alignment, just because I was "lowered".

Just my .02's. FWIW. L8R!

Thanks, Yeah I have been pricing everything out and just waiting for this kit to come in so i can get started, although i hate to cut my frame, truck has less than 20k on it and i don't want to cut it up just yet. C-notch is a pain and if i was going as far as that i would just bag it but i am starting to drive it everyday and the way it sits stock is retarded, sits so high and I like to effortlessly get in my vehicles. The alignment part is no big deal for me as for there are many smaller businesses around here in dallas that i shouldn't have much trouble with a reasonable price as long as I do not put some monster wheels on my truck
