The link you first posted doesn't work (Post #1229) as does a 6" drop with four inches of travel. No hate intended, but it doesn't add up.

Haven't seen too many wheels in dodged that I liked. These give my truck a mean appearance.
N, yes, 6 inch drop is possible without a notch. How do I know this? Hmm, maybe cause I drive one, everyday, without any issues. Now, with that being said, if my rear end is under a load, ill bottom out. Lol.

Raw, I am only going by what I have, perhaps I have my drop wrong. I bought a 2/4.5 drop and there are no other trucks around to compare with. Personally it feels like a 2/4.5 drop. There is less than a finger width to the bumps in the front and it has always been that way. I used spindles so all that stayed the same. The rear is flipped and I have it in the last shackle hole which makes for a 4 inch drop. I use a 1" aftermarket bump and have a little better than 2" of travel. I do bottom, but not often. Maybe one day we can get together for a beer and figure it out. Good luck...

Thanks dude it turns out the U2-55 was the rims that goes 6 spoke for 6 lug and 5 spoke for 5 lug

And it also sucks the only size they have for the dodge ram is 24" which is about 2 inches bigger than i wanted sadface

I'm definitely down for hanging out. You live in VA, right? My folks are still in MD. I'll b back up that way in a couple months. Lol, so it looks like we might have that beer after all. Lol.
Now, I bought a 2/4.5 drop, originally. When I installed the flip kit, I used the stock shackles. Thus giving me a 6 inch drop out back. I removed the factory bump stops n screwed the new ones all the way in. Also installed drop shocks from Beltech. It sat, sagging a**, for a few months. Then I had the front end done. Installed the drop springs and the drop spindles. Had to buy the spindles separate. I am using my stock shock absorbers up front. I ended up with, after it settled, a 5 inch drop. So, I have a slight forward rake to my truck.
Now, I was gonna buy the drop control arms, shock extended, c-notch, drop shackles to achieve a 6/8 drop. But, this is my DD. So, while she will eventually get dropped a few more inches, for now, this is as far as she's going.
Yes, it was recommended that I do a c-notch with the amount of drop I have now. I am driving now, 3 months later, without more than a couple instances of "bottoming out", fine.
Don't ask me how I'm doing it. But, I think it has a lot to do with the forward rake of my stance and with the way I drive. Which, I am a cop, so I do the speed limit, most of the time, and I don't dog out my truck. So, with those two things, I almost never bottom out. Unless I got one to many fat chicks in the backseat, then "bottoming out" would b the least of my worries! Lol. I'd b more worried about why a cop with a super nice truck has a backseat full o' fat chicks! Lol.

So, if you still wanna sit down, face to face, n sort this out. Let's do it. PM me your number, n the next time I'm at my parents house in MD, ill give you a call. Lol. In a very, very non-gay way! Lol.
