Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
Yea they just started squeking today so I planned on loosening them a bit but for the past few days they havent been squeking so maybe that just means they are settling still. I may get a few of my bigger buddies to get in the bed and jump around a little lol
your guys's shackles seem so much longer than mine, why is this? Is it becuase they are paired with a lowing kit so they don't need to be as short? And txhemi, how the heck is the underside of your truck so clean/ not rust? Are Ohio winters that bad on these?
my underside is pretty clean and we have drop shackles they have flip kits in the rear which include a longer shackle to reach the leafs....both yall may have them to tight thats why they squeak...i removed my o/l a yr ago and im perfectly level...i tow household stuff and and a 4 wheeler trailer with 3 quads on it....i dont have any issues....
Haha because the first owner was in the military and the truck got repoed in '03 and it stayed in repo until october of '09 and i bought it Feb. '10 so it was not being driven and it was up in north texas sitting in a warehouse lol
