Thanks skwurlz. Nice truck. Same stance as my 03. Mines black with 18's and pretty much stock. Have no idea what kits on it. Anybody in here know about a Coilover 4 link for our trucks? Or maybe a good shop in North Texas (DFW) to talk to about it.
Chassistech for lowering, although they use a air-spring setup, however, you could replace the sleeve bags with QA'1s. If your in Texas, call Hennesey Motorsports, they might know a good place for lowering.
Giant Motorsports for long travel rear, Atomic Racing for long travel front.
Skwurlz, the truck looks great. 2" lower in the front? It doesn't look like you can go 2" lower, but I know nothing about lowered trucks. I took the O/L spring out on my truck so it is about 3" lower than it was and the front is down about 3" from where it was with the leveling kit too. I also got the 2010 20" wheels and plasti-dipped them yesterday. The truck looks completely different. I will try to get it washed up and get some pictures up here.
Can't go 2 inches lower on the stock rollers. I almost have the coin for the Factory Reproductions black SRT-10 reps, and some 285/35/22's up front with the 305/40/22 out back. That would calculate to be approx 2" less rolling diameter than stock. I also am planning on running bags up front with the drop spindles, might just get a 1" drop spring until I can afford the air ride. I KNOW you can do a 4" static drop up front on the 22's with a 305/40/22. 5" might be rubbing on big bumps. Easy enough to figure out with the tire calc.
Cool, I am interested in learning about how to drop, It seems already I hardly have any space in my front fenders with only a 1" drop coil up front with no isolators.
Hey skwurlz thanks for the info. Id never thought about Hennesey although ive been around there stuff forever. Ill look up chassis tech. Any suggestions on a mail order source?
Mail order would be chasis tech. They're stuff is OK, not top notch but built well nothing pretty.
I know Hennessey is boosting a Gen 4 ram right now with a maggie. Pretty sure its a employee's personal truck, but Hennessey doesn't half-@ss anything, so any info they give you is good info.
Just picked up a 2011 4x4 1500 want to lower the rear to match the front for the summer when i have the low profile 22s on,what is the easist way to do it and where should i look ,sorry if this has been covered already
