Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
#1731
Heres my truck. Just got it in December... a gift to myself.
I posted it on DT a while back and the guys there said it looks like a 2/4 drop. I wasn't sure, but thought it had a drop of some sort. Anyways, don't know whos drop it is, but the truck has blue springs and Bilsteins all the way around, and some boring sounding Magnaflow dumped before the axle. Looks like a muffler before it maybe... not sure on gas trucks stock exhaust set-up. Tires are 285/50/20s.

hello! I'm new to DF and i was wondering if anyone here could help me figure some things out with my lowered 05 RAM 1500. i got it back in august of 2011 and i have no idea whats been done suspension wise.
here on some pictures i took of the front and back..
Front
Back
Also what I'm hoping to do is make this back to stock ride instead of being lowered so if anyone could give me tips on that it would much appreciated
oh and here are some pics of the side..

Hey Guys, I have looked for an answer (ofcourse I only read half of the 100+ pages LOL) but haven't found one.
Can someone tell me if I lower the rearend of my '08 with one of the many 2" shackles available will I need to change
the shocks, or make any front end adjustments?
I just want to make it easier for some family members to get in without putting running boards or steps on.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

You mean shackles in the rear. I would recommend Mcgaughy's 2/4.5 kit. It's cheap and that's coils, and a flip kit, which you'll get shackles to raise the 6in flip kit to 4.5in rear. My kit was $300 shipped!
