Hello
i am looking for lowering kit for my 2005 dodge ram ,could you give me some web site and adress
i am coming in NEW YORK on january there is some place to buy it ?
Attachment 19695
i wanna lower my 04 quad 5.7 hemi i have 22in rims but its higher in the back and i cant stand it...how low should i drop each to make it look good? i was thinkimg 2 in the front and 4 in the back
I was Thing 2/5 on mine till a Noticed that theres only 5 inchs factory axle travel between top of axle and bump stop so ill have to do A C notch kit and I don't want to do that so im having to rethink things
you can use drop shackles and remove the OL leafs to bring close to level.
I Know That But I was trying to drop front 2 inchs to even out the space between tire and fender well and do the same in rear which to go level will be 5 inch in rear and 5 inchs is all the travel rear axle has before bump stop
Hey guys. I have a 05 2x4 quad cab and had it 4 6 dropped forever and recently cut a coil up front and put shackles on it so it's almost 6 8 now. I trimmed the inner fenders and battery box but I have a weird noise now. When I'm driving if I let it coast it makes a slight hum or grinding noise. Very faint and I can give it gas and it stops. Its been aligned and all. Could the trans nd shimmed up or what?
sorry for the dirtyness and front side shot heres mine with 2/6 drop its got McGaughy 2in spindal and western chassis flip kit also replace the rear shocks with belltec 5in drop shock I did for a while had no c-notch it only bottom out on deep holes but now have a 5in bridge notch
I jdm lowering kit with 4" drop control arms and 6" flip kit on the back, the kit came with adjustable shackles on the back to raise it up. I have it at 5" on the back to avoid the need of a C-notch on the back.( note I had to get some camber bolts to adjust the camber in the from I went with belltech bolts) so my rear is a little higher but everyone including my self like it. It gives it a nice stance since I also have performance going on.
And it sitting on 22 viper replicas.
I decided to flip the axle on my 04 single cab, ordered a pair of perches of amazon, went down to a local suspension shop and picked up shocks, shackles, u bolts, and new hardware. May have saved a little bit of money but it was mainly more convenient for me at the time.. I knew the ball park of the drop and kinda just rolled with it.. I'm pretty sure it's around a 4" drop in the rear only.. yes the front is stock.. still rides nice...... and may I mention the importance of pinion angle. the driveshaft decided it didn't want to be under the truck anymore at about 50mph.. that was fun.
I have an 03 4.7 quad cab 2wd. I am wanting to put 22 inch srt10s and am wondering where I can get the best deal on some chrome ones, and what size tire should I run. I wanna do a belltech 2/5 drop later. If I do that drop kit, can I get around c-notching my frame. Here's the link http://www.belltech.com/products/bel...its-14370.html
