yeah, you wouldnt have a whole lot of suspension travel, and it would prolly ride a little more firm... BUT it would be lower! i think that if you dont haul a lot of stuff, you should be fine.

I think thats along the lines of what he was going for. We installed shackles on his truck and he didnt think it was low enough so he decided to make a few clamps out of some metal plates he had lying around.

I dont know about the ride or hauling capacity but it sure has a nice stance now!

i kno with my 2/5 drop i have i cant tow anything i rub i had to roll my wheel wells for bumps and i used a flip kit

me too, if i have more than say... 300 lbs in the back of my trcuk, it rubs and botoms out. i was gonna get helper bags in the rear, but then i just decided to bag the whole thing to lay frame. go big or go home right!?

i got a 2/5 drop and i tow a 3000 pound trailer 4 days a week and i have no problem.

i never have bottomed out. i dont know what the max wt. that i have hauled is exactly im sure 4 or 500 lbs.

well i think its cuz my leafs are so worn out. instead of bowing they are more flat...

mine kinda lay flat ever since i took out the o/l leaf and i havent put anything in the back yet or tow for that matter....will find out soon when this weather starts to cool down a lil ill get my quads out.....i will tell ya it seems a lil smoother ride w/o the o/l leaf its not as bouncy

i also think my leafs are worn out. i also have 22s with 305 45 22 sized tire that cold be a prob also since i live in new orleans the roads are bad.
