Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
i think without notching you might run in to problems with bottoming out on occasion. but that depends on your driving habits, how saggy your leafs are... things like that, i would notch it just to be safe.
i dont know about the front since you already used the springs there was a guy selling some mcgaughs 2" drop spindles NIB here in tulsa for 200.00. you can clamp your leaf springs in the rear i think its good for 1-2 " and easy
im trying to find where i seen it but a guy put u-bolts and a solid plate on the bottom of the amd tighten the bolts compressing the leafs. and you leave it on there. instant drop. ill keep searching for the thread

Cant wait to drop my Truck this week i ordered the 2 Inch Drop shackles from Moe's.
I also have a friend who made some clamps and clamped his leaf springs and it added an extra 1-2 inch drop. I would also like to know how safe that would be to do.
