When I removed the springs on mine, I jacked up the front end under the cross member. And then removed one wheel, then used another jack under the control arm to compress the bitch. Unbolt, then slowly let off the pressure from the jack to remove pressure. Did the exact same thing opposite to re-compress it. Never used a coil compressor.

Hmm, well I might have to try that one. Thanks! I'm gonna try and tackle this one this weekend. At the very least hopefully I can have the rear flip kit done in one day. LOL. If I don't get to replacing the front coil springs this weekend I'll do em next weekend.

Why doesn't anyone (internet) have a good set of directions? I guess once I do this one I'm gonna have to make up a set and have it posted on here. LOL. Then the next guy who has a lowering kit to install won't have to go through the searching for directions, cause they'll be on here. LOL.

Let me know how it goes man, i'm putting mine on in a couple of weeks. I'm in the same boat you are, not so worried about the rear but the front is what i'm not entirely sure about. lol

I'm gonna try and get pics and some decent directions on here. Maybe it would be beneficial if someone put it in a "sticky", lol. I do have one question though, if I were to do as was mentioned above and use a jack to compress the spring instead of a spring compressor, would I still need to disconnect the tie-rod ends? Cause I aint got no pickle fork. LOL. (maybe a flat headed screwdriver would work instead?).
