i have an 04 ram quad cab and im wondering if i can just flip the rear end without having to buy a kit

i know a guy that got a set of axel perch's for a trailer and did his rear flip for like 8.00

yeah if you can fab stuff go for it...but what I think he was talkin about was just straight up flippin his rear end the way it sits....That the way I understood it, correct me if I am wrong please.

yeah i am about to install my new rear end with lower gears and i was wondering if i could just put the springs below it to drop it

lower gears? springs below what im not understanding you...the leaf springs? what do you mean by lower gears?
