Default cost to convert from normal to old fasion..

so yeah i am getting sick of all this electrical crap under my hood...what would it cost to make the motor as it is right now and make it carburated like the old fashion trucks im use to the carbs from my racing so im just trying to figure out cost to transform the EFI to carb...and i cant find nothing about it...i have an 03 ram 1500 2WD 4.7L

i don't wanna buy a crate motor...i don't need a motor i love my 4.7...do they make an intake to do it

if i am thinking correct and the 4.7 is the same as the 5.7 in terms of the throttle body...the throttle body is on its side so you would need a intake and a carb then run fuel lines do something with the computer....hassle

do you plan on gettin rid of the auto trans too?... since they are all electronic.
i just dont see why you would want to go through all this trouble just to get rid of some wires.... unless its to trade the 4.7 for a hemi, thatd be sweet!

when my motor blows im gonna be putting in super charged 5.9 with 5 speed racing trans

id take out the computer and have the trans work of a ratchet shifter if i can figure out how to do that...it sounds easy in my head but i have no idea how the trans works id have to talk to my motor/trans guy

Why are you sick of the electronics??? cant control anything??? get a tuner??? whats the big deal basically????

Isnt most the truck ran off the a canbus system? So with out the computer most things wont work in the truck right?

Why not go buy an older truck and put whatever you want in it?
