question for you guys skilled in painting . i might be getting a set of 09 ram rims not the chrome ones the painted silver ones. over in the 4th gen they say you cant paint the chrome ones but searching i cant find any info on the painted ones . any info would be awesome hears the link to the rims. i want to paint them flat black if i can?? and can someone photo shop them on my tires and truck and make them flat black???
You can paint the non chrome ones no problem. The rims I started with were the brushed finish rims and the paint has been on there for almost a year now with no problems.
Yes you can paint them. If going flat black I'd probably have a shop do it. Since there can't be any protective finishes applied to it, they have to be done right to prevent fading/chipping. Also have to take them off during winter, and not use any wheel cleaners.

RH, BROTHER!! Don't do that man! As far as painting them it shouldn't be a problem if the are painted now. And why you asking for advice on painting?? With all the stuff you have painted on your truck you won't have a problem. But My opinion on those rims is...THEY SUCK! Sorry but thats my . Let me correct myself and say I think they would suck on your truck.
If I was you RH, I would go with a set of 3rd gen 20's if you have your heart set on a set of stock rims to paint. Those 09's are not a good looking rim.
