Angry please help before i loose my friggin mind

now i know how these usually come off as i have taken them off many things but for some reason on this grille all they want to do is bend or break. what is the proper/easiest way to take the little inserts in the grille off? you know stuck in there with the little body tab things. im trying to take it off with out breaking it(or any thing else in my house). here i got some pics. help me out before i go drive the truck off a cliff.

you push the pins all the way thru...

use a thin punch and tap them through..and then the inserts come out...

That thing in the pic that looks like a bolt? Is that what you are referring to? If it's what i think they are, then the middle needs to be pried up and out about 1.4" and then the whole body pulls right out. Not sure if it's the same deal, but if it's plastic. That's what you must do.
If it's metal, I have no clue....lol

I usually end up breaking those things. Suck it up and order some, or do what I started doing and use zip ties

you push the thin plastic dowel thru..yur last pic shows it sticking out a little bit..don't pull it out...push it thru...

I've done this a bunch of times when I was switchin grills out or painting them... it's very easy...I kicked myself when I realized I could push them thru instead pulling them out and fu!@#$ them up...

lol thanks for the help, i was readin as i was breakin one after another than i read that you push it through. omg IDIOT! well i had enough saved up between two grilles that it turned out great. tell me what you think?

Hey when you had it off, what was the shell made out of? Plastic or metal? Ive been looking at getting one but the ones that come ready for paint are plastic. I'd run out and look at mine but I have to finish up a few things at the office first.
