Default LED Bulbs and HIDs

I just purchased some new led HID bulbs for my license plate sockets, and a high output red LED for the third brake light. I plan to purchase some of the high output led bulbs for the tail lights as well but they were $50.

I'm also getting ready to buy a hi/low HID kit for the headlights and a HID kit for the foglights as well. I'm going to go with the 6k blue kit that V-LEDS offers. They are a little more pricey than usual, but I bought my HIDs from them for my headlights and fog lights on my previous dodge ram and I had no problem. I asked if they would give me a deal for buying both kits simultaneously.

Last question. Are the fog lights a 9006? And the hi/low bulbs for the headlights are a 9007 right? I can't wait to see this truck have some HIDs, just give it an extra attribute to set it aside from the pack=)

Wow, really? Are they of a good quality and do they have any kind of warranty? How can I access that deal? Will they be able to get me something that is blue with a hint of white in them? I also want to make sure they are going to be identical kits for both the headlights and fog lights so they can match.

3057 or 3157 are the tail numbers and you can ebay the words "3157 RED LED" and find what you are looking for. I have them in my tails and have been using them for a few years now and never an issue.

they give a 2 year warranty, their customer service is second to nobody (michelle from HIDExtra is on here at least twice a day), and yes, can get whatever color you want. lots of people on here have them now.

Can somebody help me out with picking the right ones? I don't want all blue. I want a predominant blue with a touch of white in them for both the headlights and fog lights.

Weedahoe, will the LED bulbs work well with the stock tail lights? I have stock tail lights that have all been smoked out, so I was kind of hoping the LED's would lighten them up even better than the stock bulbs.

5K is more like natural daylight.
The more you go up in value, the bluer the light will be.
I have 6K in mine, so they are very white, with a tiny touch of blue.
8k have more blue and 10k a lot.
Hope that helps you?
Al.

You'll want to get 6000K or lower. But 6000K are really good lights. That's what I ordered for my truck, and when I get my capacitors in, they will finally work and they look sick.
But if you order them, talk with Michelle right away and have them send the capacitors for your lights right away. Or else you better not need to drive at night.

i added some leds earlier today for my rear turn signals. I didnt change the taillights, i added on 2 extra leds under the truck. and when i tested them the original bulbs in the tailights would dim on and off while the leds flicker off n on without and dimming.

leds will be alot brighter 2. it looks like i got neons underneath because they light up really bright red. Now im thinking of changing the taillight bulb to led too so it can keep up the flash without the dimming effect.

and is it just mine or is the license plate light's lense a faded golden color.
