It sucks but I cant do any more modding for a while. Our A/C went out last night around 10pm and by 6am this morning with 3hrs of sleep if that, it was around 87 inside. By noon when the guy came over to fix it it was pushing 93 inside even with every fan I could find blowing inside.... $1800 later the a/c is back up and running nice and cold. My modding money is down to under $100..... I hate it when unexpected sh*t happens.... So for now, no more mods till I can build it back up. Just thought I'd vent a little...

 

sorry about that man. im gonna have to stop for a little bit too so i can pay for these books...

 

Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat as you, truckin. Nothing unexpected like you, but I’ve spent enough money on various toys for me and my truck, and now I need to pay the credit cards before I buy anything else.

 

Well the credit cards are not the problem, if I need to use them I can but prefer not to touch them. It just sucks cause I was about to order some headers on Saturday night but decided to wait til next payday and then this happens, now it will be more like a few months down the road before I can start anything else.

happens to the best. i have to plan all of my mods because of 3 kids. i want a new system so bad.

 

hey, better that you didn't order the headers and had the money on hand to get the AC fixed. it happens bro, don't trip about not gettin headers, instead enjoy that TC and those gears soms more! you'll have the money saved up again in no time.

 

I know and Im glad I waited on getting the headers too. As much as I wanted to keep that cash for my mods I can not go without a/c here in the summer it just does not work.

Looks like headers and the cam will be a christmas present after all. (unless I find a GREAT deal on the headers).

those a/c repair guys in the hot states must be making a fortune! good business plan on them.
lucky for me though, i dont even have a/c in my apt. when it gets hot over here (by hot i mean upper 70's) i put a fan in the window that faces the ocean, and im set.

but you need to hurry up and get some more mods in that truck... i live vicariously through your modding since i cannot afford it.
