Well, I think maybe my PCM may have found the problem for me... Threw a code last night P0406, I cleared it, and then threw it again tonight. "Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High." A bit of searching on this forum and I see this is common problem with Rams and other Chrysler vehicles around my mileage mark. I guess I'm going to order an EGR valve and get it installed on my Ram and see if that helps... Will let you guys know

Should be under the factory emissions warranty.

I just got 471 miles on my last tank of fuel 25.9 gal. Barely made it to the pump. I don't usually get that low, but I couldn't get to my usual non-reformulated station until yesterday. I rarely let it get under 1/4 tank.

I would check these.

Air Filter and Intake.
Plug Grime and gap.
Fuel Filter (low quallity gas can clog them)
EGR Valve and Sensor (they are known to clog/get dirty at around 50k)
Fuel Quallity and if it has any Ethanol in it.

I've noticed large decreases in MPG in my company van (09 E250 w/4.6V8) when running gas with ethanol in it, on regular pure gas the thing averages about 12mpg, with the ethanol junk, it's doing good to get 7mpg (unless it's chevron premium then it gets 10mpg).

I have also noticed a substantial decrease in mpg in my diesel, I did some tests and found that it's a significant reduction in the quality of the fuel, the stuff they sell here (except the expensive bio stuff) is well below the grade of the crap they sell in mexico, even caught one station cutting diesel with E85, and have also heard of some stations all around the us that are getting caught selling Gas with up to 40% Ethanol labeled as 10%.

I just got done swapping mine out, it's pretty simple, I will post some pictures in a few once I get cleaned up and finished. (I also took my filter off once again and cleaned it so I'm waiting on that to dry, saw a few places on it that I missed the first time around).

You can clean it, but from what I've read around here, it seems to be a weak part on the Hemi engines anyway, and will eventually have to be changed. I'm going to clean the one I took off and keep it for a spare, but for now I just swapped it with a new one... Gimme about 20 minutes and I'll get you some pics...

Alright, just finished up and took the truck out for a drive... Wow, didn't realize I had lost that much power.... Gradual decrease not near as noticeable I guess. Anyway, for your viewing pleasure:

EGR Valve location:

Compare old to new:

Motor with valve off:

The entire switch took about 30 minutes, most of that was just trying keep my hands off of anything hot (Impatient and didn't want to wait on the engine to cool). Reset the code, and it didn't return on my 10 minute test drive. Everything seems to be running good, will find out tonight when I drive home as to whether it helps the mpg's or not...

Here's a shot of my TB when I took it off to clean it:

And after I got it clean:

Just remember, that's the back of the TB. I used to think the same thing when people posted pics of their dirty TB, until I pulled mine off the first time and was like, "Whoa!"

The front looked like this:
