Default RE: Overhead Console Install

I know this is an old thread.
I was wondering if you had gotten the mpg recalibrated and the cost of doing that?
Also wondering if you have figured out a way for the lights to have the auto-off feature instead of wiring direct?

I just bought an 05 console and my truck is an 03, i am in the process of looking for the 03 console instead because after looking at the wiring diagrams and the colors do not match.
I have the schematics of both 03 and 05 and can probably make it work. But if i can get the 03 console i'll just sell the 05.

Just some questions i have before i start to possibly make it easier.

No you can get 3.7L 4x2 QCSB. 3.7L is not offered in 4x4 with any body style.

My console is consistently about 1mpg high (indicates 15.5mpg when at fill-up I calculate 14.5) -- is this something the dealer can adjust? Mine is a 4.7L and, as far as I know, the original console.

Thanks,
Israel

Actually yes. I have spent less than 1000k on my upgrades including factory cruise, 17" factory alloys, power windows, power door locks and keyless entry, cd player, and now the overhead console thing. The difference between and SLT and my ST is more like 4k.
1000K?

That would be $1,000,000

Damn dude, I bet for 1mil you have a pretty sweet truck.

Which direction do you push to pop out the overhead, forward or backwards?

If anyone gets their overhead recalibrated, I would like to know the cost also. I changed my SLT version out for a EVIC model and the MPG is off.
