I would like to put a keyless entry system on my truck, but I have to install the power locks first. I would love to have power windows too, but the keyless is more important to me. thanks

Ebay I bought a real nice setup for 35 bucks installed in about 2 hours, would have been faster if I could have found the fused power faster.. No buttons on the inside but if you unlock or lock one door both are locked or unlocked really nice feature in my opinion..

Found the wire in the plug for the code reader under the edge of the dash mine on my 02 is blue with dark blue stripe. shows 453 miles to empty. Now all I have to do is wire in the tempature sensor and I have all the functions working, Next power windows. Still need to find a donor truck for the door panels. Have the rest of it already..

I know, right! Hey I saw this and thought it looked familiar and sure enough I posted to this thread back in 2005 myself! LOL

But at least some users are smart enough to actually use the search feature to find out about whatever it is they need to know, no matter how old the thread is.

Default Search

I think with the remarks about another old thread most "newbies" learn it is better to make a new thread than to reactivate an old one. Guess I should have just reposted an duplicate question. That is why the forum search is so hard to use. no orginazation. It would be nice if forum software just applied your questions to like previous threads. that way search would be smaller but all the OPINIONS instead of facts makes it really tough to figure out what the heck is being said..

Thanks for the HELP.
Old Thread reviver..

Where can I find the console mounting bracket? I already have the console and a general wiring idea. I just don't want to fLLFJSIFJ up my headliner by trying the mount the console without the bracket. Thanks.

From reading through this ancient thread , I've gathered the best place is the dealer for the mounting bracket.

Looks as though the thread has been revived again!

Darn, was hoping I could avoid the stealership...I found a Mopar parts dealer that I could get it for $40 bucks, so I guess I'll go that way.
