tk04hemi - Thank you for your input on the AEM gauge, however it is not what I am looking for. I was just wanting to know how the aeroforce wideband stacked up against some of the others. I like the idea of having everything on the same gauge, makes the truck less crowded inside and instead of looking at one gauge for this and one for that and one for another, everything is in one place. And its about $100 cheaper and with all the things going into the truck in the next month, money and simplicity talks. I would like to know how the accuracy compares to the aeroforce's though, I believe Aeroforce claims within 0.1 for accuracy, what does AEM claim?

Frog - Thank you for clearing a few things up for me about the kit. If they both the AEM and Aeroforce use the same sesor for A/F then thats perfect. Having someone on here that has the things I am looking at getting on their truck already really helps specially when you can get their opinions on the product before you bite the bullet and make a couple hundred dollar purchace.

Now, let the argument die. No more fighting/arguing, I want some information so I can make an informed purchace so if it doesn't pertain to that or is not a question or answer about a setup dont post and that goes for everyone else.

So back to the OP, If anyone else is using a different wideband let me know how it stacks up to the one I posted up in my first post as far as price/accuracy goes.

AEM is the same accuracy. Like I was saying before, the AEM is a nice setup if you are doing alot of work involving air management in your truck, therefore have a priority to constantly monitor your A/F. If you would just like to have it then the aeroforce is the way to go. I find it rather important and it in no way looks cluttered at all. I can try and take you a picture if you would like to see my triple pod setup. But from the sound of what you want the aeroforce is the way to go.

From Moes I think you can get the AEM for $200 which is a nice setup considering the aeroforce is like 150 or so? I could be wrong. You can setup your aeroforce gauge to cycle through your readings you know so you can have the A/F data in that cycle. The AEM looks good though, simple to setup, and for rubber frogs sake you can wire it to a fused source if you would like, but I use a big diesel battery and have no problems with the TINY amount of LED current running through that.

Default Which WIDEBAND to buy?

Is there a specific WIDEBAND O2 kit that I would need for my 2005 4.7L V8 Dodge Ram?

Theoretically, all widebands whould work the same. The Aeroforce just happens to be an "all-in-one" tyoe gauge with add-ons if you need them.

So would I be safe in getting a wideband kit or the sensor and then get a custom gauge that handles the wideband readings? I just want to make sure I buy the right item for my truck and not have to deal with returning the thing and waiting forever for the right part.

What do you mean add ons?

I THINK the wideaband kit and you getting a sensor and gauge would be the same thing but dont hold me to it. My understanding is that with all of this you still need a way to datalog so you can truely read where you are at in certain areas and tune as needed.

HERE are some of the add-ons for the Aeroforce I was speaking about. They obviously do not come with the gauge itself.
