Question Wideband Guys

Guys running a wideband on your trucks, how does this compare with yours?

I already have the aeroforce gauge and this kit is much cheaper than the cheapest AEM kit/gauge. Just trying to figure out if everything looks/sounds about right

I run this kit. It's excellent and it's very clean having it all on one gauge. Prior to this, I ran the dynojet wideband commander. I got the same WOT readings from both.

Sweet, I wasn't sure if you had this kit or not frog. Any issues with installing it?

The install was pretty straight forward. A couple wire splices here, plug in a connector there.... the usual electronics install stuff.

Wire everything up before you get the bung installed. It's bad for the sensor to drive around with it installed but not powered up.

Where do you have the bung installed? The install directions really dont specify other than being a min of 18" after the exhaust ports. I'll also be putting it in at the same time as the headers and Y so it should be fairly easy to get it spliced it and everything at the same time

Are you going long tubes? I have shorties so I installed it as close to (and in front of) the cat as I could.

Put them in the collector of the long tube just before the flange.

I have two aerforce gauges and they already have fuel sensors ie knock retard etc. I also have the AEM wideband gauge and it is extremely helpful. It is in real time and much more direct. And not too much more if you want to make a more legit setup. If you have headers and throttle body youll most likely be running more rich like i am but I have been working on a tune because itll run lean sometimes at low rpms (not idle). I feel it is important enough to have its own place, but its subjective i suppose.
