So with my truck as big and lifted as it is, with my new exhaust coming, do you think 5" tips would be too big? Ive for 4" tips now.

 

I think 5" will be fine

 

I think 4" is the biggest you should go with a gas motor.


EDIT: Unless you have a 4 banger, then the biggest you should EVER go is 2 1/2". Anything bigger just looks stupid.

 

You will be fine my truck is stock, i have a 6x5 oval tip looks good coming out the side behind the pass. rear tire. good luck

 

i think 5" is too big unless you got a diesel, i like a nice tight sleek fit, not some big a$$ coffe cans stickin out the back... but its your truck...

id leave the 4" weed 5"s are a lil big imho....take it for what its worth tho its your beast....

 

Mine are 3.5" I think and are plenty big for a truck.

 

i love the look of those lx... i picked up a side job this weekend that will pay for a magnaflow dual catback... so my next mod is on its way soon...
still not sure if it will be loud enough tho... got a soundclip?

 

i think it depends on how your exhaust is laid out weed... if its coming straight out of the back then no... i have a couple friends with 5" tips and it doesnt look bad.... it just depends on the layout imo... i have a single out with a 4" and i think it looks fine but as stated to each his own
