What would 295's or 305's do to mileage on a hemi?
Kinda confused here. Your title says about 33's and then you ask about 295/305's? 295 is the width not the height.
Also, there's plenty of MPG threads floating around. Use the search function or
i got 285/70/17's on my truck and the overhead says 12 but i dont bealive it, and i dont drive the truck to do the hand calculations also i gots a 2500
Hell, I was getting arund 12 in town with a stock setup and now ive got all kinds of things done to my truck and riding on 36s and still get about the same.
I pulled 13.6 city with 285/70r17's I now have 305/55R20's and am getting 13.2 city.
The only big difference I noticed was when I had 305/70r17's M/T's on there. I was getting 10.7 city.
33's are the same size as your stockers on a 5.7 but your sig says you have a 4.7 im sorry
That's what I was thinking and if anything they are only about a 1/4 inch smaller than 33's. I think the 5.7 was a typo or maybe his sig is a typo? Hard to tell.
I run 33 x 12.5 Cooper S/T's which are an aggressive A/T tire and get around 10 city and 12 highway mpg empty. Towing our camper nets between 8 and 9 depending on speed. I am sure with a less aggressive tire I would get better.
