just a little fyi for you guys, my brother just blacked out his headlights on his cobalt, and it works best if you heat them up at 200 degrees for 15 mins, 20 mins tops if there is alot of glue, the 250+ degrees everyone else talks about is usually too much, cuz the plastic will start to melt or sag before the glue gets pliable, but anyways those do look awesome, kinda want to paint mine to match my paint, but not sure how it would look, cuz i got the dark grey metallic, but i also just got those new crystal headlights, the ones that are completely clear, no yellow or anything

I did mine for 10 or 15 mins at 225*. I cleaned as much of the old RTV off as I could and resealed em with new rtv, clamped them together with some small ratchet straps and let it set up. No problem. Dog if you haven't already read this here is the DIY I followed, https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...ram05baby.html . I wouldn't think there would be that much difference in the construction of the different year model lights.

Thanks Bear. Ratchet straps sound like a good idea. they are the only things that will fit around these giants too...lol

dGator, I made another post when i got my stuff in. I am using TRS FX-R Bi-xenon projectors with OEM Matsu****a ballasts and Philips 4300k bulbs.
I bought the Gatlin shrouds as they said would fit and don't. Now I got one all cut up to try and make it fit and it doesn't. $50 down the drain...ughhh Now i have to find something else???
I'd post some mid-way pics but....... I have to start a new account....

OMG, they blanked out Matsish*ta.....LMAO ----* is an i
