You switching your 12's for 10's is what I meant earlier when asking the question about the foxbox. I know I could fit a much better 10" in there.

Damn...lol very nice, thanks for the good read and lots of ideas.

welcome to the forum man, as we always tell new members it seems, you might as well hand over your wallet. The mod bug will always be with you.

If you want the subs under the seat, DONT go with 12's. my 10's barely have enough airspace and I probably have more space than any prefab box out there. I paid $300 just for materials but did all the work myself. Pretty much, the audio shop that helped us fiberglass said he would have charged $1000+ for the box. If you just want some bass, I would spend most of the money on the components up front, but remember you get what you pay for. I haven't gotten time or money to install alpine components in my truck yet. Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks man, haha ya I know what you mean, as soon as I got it home from the lot I started dreaming up all kinds of ways to spend money on it.

Ya I think I'm going to wait for a 10" box to pop up on craigslist and put some good 10's in there.

BTW, do your amps ever overheat? I used to have a 2000W amp pushin my 15's and on a hot summer day it would cut out on me, and it was just under the seat.

Well hot damn I just found a guy on craigslist that's selling boxes to fit my dodge for $25. Bad ***. This will definitely hold me off for a while, esp at that price.

Think he has a couple left if anyone is in the DFW area and looking for a box, here's the link:

Oh bad ***, I'll mention it when I meet up with him today. Maybe he'll give it to me for 20, lol.

Yeh I just met up with him and sold him one of the 2 dodge boxes that I have left. It should work for awhile till he can afford the more expensive boxes and woofers.

We welcome another fellow silver dodge ram owner! I invited him out to the chili cookoff on saturday at Bass Pro Shops... so maybe there will be yet another Ram at the event.
