Default Cia, Headers, Chip, Done.

I have all the normal power adders and I want to make sure my truck is running at its best. When I installed the LT headers I called superchip. They told me that LT headers and the 91 tune would cause a lean condition. Well I have been running the tune and the headers and the truck rips to say the least.

What is the next step in performance?

I have a cortex but I cant figure out how to use all the data acquisition tools to check my air to fuel ratio. Why don't they release a freaking manual on how to use these features???

SO say I figure out my truck is running too lean, how do I fix it??

You may need a custom tune to get the proper air/fuel ratio.

Plus IF you do go lean, you could always upgrade to 6.1 (30#) injectors to try to rebalance it out. Ive seen several sets in the classified recently. Once I get my cam in and LTs and A/R gauge, then I will know I will need some too.

You need a wideband, that'll tell you how lean you are. Mine doesn't feel quite right yet but after I get my wideband in I can adjust some things to richen it out with my diablo.

You need an wideband to get your A/F ratio. Not going to get that info from your Cortex.

Thanks for the complements guys. I am going to look into getting a wideband. I need to find a place in my truck where it wont annoy me with all that moving around. I will post what the wideband tells me when I get it.
