nice set up. i have the ida-x200 and love it. just buy an ipod classic 30 or 80 gig load it up and throw it in the glove box. i also got the swi jac( steering wheel control adapter) on ebay for 40.00 nib and the full speed ipod cable for 5.00 also on ebay. i like not having cd's to change out. i wish i would have gotten the 300 though. ill have to call crutchfield to see if they will swap me. also bolt your amp and box down. for security and insurance, they will not cover anything that is not bolted to the vehicle. i found out the hard way.

Will do. Will bolt it everything down this weekend, since i have to fix my race quad and since the tag still hasnt come in yet for the truck since June.. so no driving the dodge till i get another dealer tag extended date. =/ .If you get the 300 put some extra money in it and buy mini amplifier for it (bolts right behind it) it increases the sound and sound quality amazingly, (supposed to increase the sound and quality an bass and what not by 150%) i found one on ebay for $50 and is worth it.

i put my subs in my sister car to see what they would sound like in a car setup, and it was way better then what i was getting out of them in the truck
In the bed? How did you do that?

Get the Kicker Mopar door speakers. Priced right, sound great and plug right into the factory harness.

Kicker is good with door spreakers? But then again. Anything is better than stock.. Are there any websites that have them at a good price?

Ebay is my store. Bought my whole system from it. Lol. I guess kickers it is then I guess..

I also have a question if you or someone could answer.. Would a capacitor be a good add on for my 2400 watt amp?

sweet setup. thats the head i will be getting soon, unless i win the lotto and go with an avic 2din setup. i used to have the old ida-x100 (the first series that came out) and i loved it. sadly enough, that was one of the selling points that help me get rid of the durango. i was planning on getting the powerpack as well, glad to hear you like it. im just not sure if it will be enough power for the alpine type Rs i want to put up front.

You'll like it if you truly want to sacrifice the use of CD's. That's the only thing I miss but I'm getting over it.. Beats looking for a CD while driving anyway.. An once you hook your ipod up to it or mp3 you just scroll through it and pick a song.
